MISSION STATEMENT

“We, the parents and supporters of Filipino-American children desiring to develop their talents in Philippine arts and culture, do hereby organize ourselves as the Maharlika Cultural Troupe, Inc.”

DEDICATION TO OUR YOUTH
We truly care for our children.  We build enduring relationships by understanding and anticipating their needs.  Our main and primary objective is to develop the personality and talents of our children in Philippine arts and culture through dances, music, songs, educational workshops, etc.  At the same time we intend to keep the youth occupied in their free time in hopes of minimizing their exposure to undesirable influences as they mature in their own community.

RESPECT FOR INDIVIDUALS
We treat each other with respect and dignity, valuing individual differences.  We communicate frequently and with candor, listening to each other regardless of stand or opinion.  Our team spirit extends to being responsible and caring partners in all our activities.  As a team we do our best to excel in all our endeavors.

HIGHEST STANDARDS OF INTEGRITY
We are honest and ethical in all our business dealings, starting with how we treat each other.  We are guided by the By-Laws we have adopted and the laws that govern us.  We keep our promises and admit our mistakes.  Our appropriate personal conduct ensure the Maharlika Cultural Troupe’s name is always worthy of trust.
